UAP GROUP INSURANCE _ Renewal Rates and First Activation Dates For Group B Participants - March 18th, 2022 To March 17th, 2023

Please find at the link below the Group B renewal rates set by UAP for the period running from March 18th, 2022 to March 17th, 2023.

LINK: Renewal Rates For Group B Members -- 2022 To 2023

The premium rates have a 10% loading. This is the lowest increase so far offered by the insurer. It reflects a more prudent use of benefits -- particularly in relation to Outpatient Cover -- by Group B participants during the year which ends on March 17th, 2022. Group A members who did not renew their cover in December are free to join Group B. So are all others who wish to participate.

Also included in the premium rates are:
a. A covid insurance charge based on family size; and,
b. A 0.45% statutory charge for TL/PHPF

All are reminded that participants in this Group Insurance cover are required to own at least 3 Unashig shares. Incidentally, most Unashig members already meet this requirement. There is also an Insurance Processing Fee of KES 1,500/- per family.

New Members will also need to fill a Membership Registration Form and pay KES2,000/- as a one-off fee per family.

Anyone resident in Kenya is eligible to participate in this group initiative.

All are advised that premium payments must be made in full at least 5 working days prior to the preferred insurance activation date. The first activation is scheduled for March 18th, 2022. In order to accommodate those who may not be ready on March 18th, a provision has been made for up to three additional activation dates thereafter, the last being April 17th, 2022. However, the last date of insurance cover for all Group B Members, regardless of the activation date, will be March 17th, 2023. The earlier your activation date the better.

How Humanity Will Populate the Universe

Migration is the only way, and reason, that humanity -- out of Africa and armed with insight, aspiration, and crude but increasingly effective and advanced technology -- cleared "pathways" and settled "all over" the Earth. We did not do so by merely peeping into the horizon. We will not conquer the universe either -- to whatever extent we might -- by simply staring into the heavens with spectacular telescopes and dreaming of time travel.
