Share Price and Market Capitalization on Specified Day's of the Week:

Friday, October 8th, 2021.

The total of outstanding CBshares, owned by 239 shareholders, remained steady at 3,234.11. But the price of a CBshare lost further ground, closing 0.75% lower at KES 2.448.77 (or US$ 22.47, at the forex rate of KES 110.75 per USD). We are still not quite rid of the proverbial September Blues, it seems. Despite the dip, however, CBshare outperformed three out of the four indices which Unashig tracks at the bourse, as the ranking below shows:

1) NSE 20 Index: Down 0.46%
2) CBshare Price: Down 0.75%*
3) FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: Down 0.80%
4) NSE 25 Index: Down 0.87%
5) NASI (NSE All Share Index): Down 1.06%.

[Update ~ October 10th, 2021]: From a Week-on-Week (W-o-W) perspective, however, CBshare's position relative to the four NSE indices flipped entirely this past Friday (even as all the indices dropped as well), moving from top to bottom as we see in this Friday ranking: (1) NSE 20 Index: Down 2.22%, (2) FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: Down 2.89%, (3) NSE 25 Index: Down 2.97%, (4) NASI (NSE All Share Index): Down 2.99%, and (5) CBshare Price: Down 3.90%.

YTD, however, the price of a CBshare still closed in positive territory, posting a respectable if lower gain of 19.89%.

Unashig's market capitalization closed 0.73% lower today, at KES 7,920855.50 (or US$ 71,610.66). YTD, however, it has recorded a 42.46% growth. Looking farther back to December 31st, 2019, we still see a whopping gain -- this time closing at the 366.92% mark on the growth curve.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL INVESTORS, WHEREVER YOU MAY BE: The price of a CBshare will hold at KES 2,448.77 US$ 22.47) -- plus statutory and brokerage charges approximating 2.23% over-and-above the direct cost of CBshares bought at a particular time -- until 5:00 PM (GMT+3) next Tuesday, October 12th (October 11th being a public holiday). A new price will be released, after some 'mining', early or later Tuesday night.

Thursday, October 7th, 2021.

CBshare retreated 0.68% today, closing at KES 2,467.23 (or US$ 22.28, at the forex rate of KES 110.75 per USD).  The total of CBshares outstanding -- owned by 239 shareholders -- remained steady at 3,234.11.

Trending in the same direction as CBshare's price -- and, more importantly, mirroring the day's dominant "market sentiments" -- all the four NSE indices monitored by Unashig edged downwards. However, CBshare outperformed all of them -- as it does periodically -- having lost the least ground, as shown in the ranking below:

1) CBshare Price: Down 0.68%*
2) NSE 25 Index: Down 0.70%
3) FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: Down 0.75%
4) NSE 20 Index: Down 0.79%
5) NASI (NSE All Share Index): Down 1.00%.

Indeed, with a growth rate of 20.79%, YTD, CBshare continues to underscore its resilience and value proposition to current and prospective shareholders.

Unashig's market capitalization closed somewhat lower today at KES 7,979,297.00 (US 72,047.83). This showed a 0.68% decline from the day before. YTD, its gain stands at 43.51% on the growth curve. Counting from December 31st, 2019, it hit the 370.37% mark today, on the longer growth curve.

Wednesday, October 6th, 2021.

The price of a CBshare dropped 0.14% to close at KES 2,484.17 (or US$ 22.43, at the forex rate of KES 110.75 per US$). All but one of the four NSE indices we routinely track also lost ground. This leaves us with the ranking shown below, in which none of the "players"  seems able to dash forward and leave the rest "in the dust":

1) NSE 20 Index: Up 0.12%
2) FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: Down 0.03%
3) NSE 25 Index: Down 0.14%
3) CBshare Price: Down 0.14%*
5) NASI (NSE All Share Index): Down 0.22%.

With a growth rate currently standing at 21.62%, YTD, CBshare continues to display its resilience and worth.

While there was a 0.14% decline in the price of a CBshare, Unashig's market capitalization closed the day 0.15% higher -- at KES 8,034,069.50 (or US$ 72,993.86). This 'mismatch' was due to a mix of factors: the momentum built into previous decisions, lags in updating the count of shares outstanding or 'commiting' at the bourse the funds received for the most recent purchases of CBshares.

YTD, Unashig's market capitalization has recorded a 44.49% gain. When we trace back to December 31st, 2019,  we see an accumulated gain of 373.60%.

Tuesday, October 5th, 2021.

The downward slide in CBshare's price continued in tandem with the broad trend at the NSE -- which 'hosts' all the stocks from whose quoted value that price is derived. It closed 1.07% lower today, at KES 2,487.76 (or US$ 22.49, at a still weakening forex rate of KES 110.61 per USD). Key indices of NSE's performance also fell, giving us the following ranking at the close:

1) NSE 20 Index: Down 0.58%
2) CBshare Price: Down 1.07%*
3) NSE 25 Index: Down 1.10%
4) NASI (NSE All Share Index): Down 1.12%
5) FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: Down 1.41%.

CBshare's closing price nevertheless represented a 22.81% gain, YTD. However, the number of Unashig shareholders and shares outstanding remained unchanged.

Unashig's market capitalization also declined by 1.26%, closing today at KES 8,022,075.50 (or US$ 72,525.77). YTD, however, it closed at 22.81% on the growth curve. Since December 31st, 2019, it has now settled at the 372.89% mark on the curve.

Monday, October 4th, 2021.

CBshare shed 0.30% in value to close at KES 2,514.54 (or US$ 22.75, at a still downward-trending forex rate of KES 110.55 per USD). Two NSE indices also fell, leaving us with the following ranking of the metrices:

1) NASI (NSE All Share Index): Up 0.38%
2) FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: Up 0.12%
3) NSE 25 Index: Down 0.20%
4) CBshare Price: Down 0.30%*
5)  NSE 20 Index: Down 0.51%.

Unashig's shareholders increased marginally to 326, while the total of shares outstanding rose to 3,231.11. Management continues to encourage shareholders to top-up their fractional CBshares into whole shares, and to push their respective shareholdings past 3 to 10, and then beyond 10.

CBshare's closing price this Monday represented a 24.38% gain, YTD.

Unashig's market capitalization dropped by 0.20%, closing at KES 8,124,748 (or US$ 73,493.88). YTD, it has realized a 46.12% gain. Since December 31st, 2019, the accumulated gain has hit the 378.94% mark.
