Unasi Insurance Agency, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unashig Kenya PLC, has prepared a table for Unashig Members which matches the age of each household member, as so far reported by 113 Unashig Members, with age-specific premium calculations subsequently made for us by Cigna Africa. It is available at the link below.
To arrive at your family's/household's aggregate premium, simply add the premiums calculated (by age) for each family member, as further elaborated on the said table. The table should help 113 Unashig Members (we are a much larger family group comprising 600+ households) who have not yet furnished family details to see how much premium they would pay if they joined ahead of the formal launch of the cover.
It is important to note that EACH family member covered will be separately entitled to a year's health insurance cover of UP TO US$ 50,000 (or approximately KES 5,000,000/-). Thus, for example, an M+1 family will be covered for a total benefit limit of KES 10,000,000/-, while an M+4 family will be covered for a combined total of KES 25,000,000/- (that is, KES 5m x 5).
