List of Shareholders of Unashig Kenya PLC_ Released on March 31st 2021

Unashig presently has 222 shareholders, who hold a total of 2,904.11 CA(Class A) and CB (Class B) shares -- out of 7,000 authorized shares (or "capital stock"). The market value of the issued/outstanding shares continues to be realized largely through Unashig's growing portfolio of shares traded on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). It stands now at KES 6,317,041.50 (or US$ 57,769.01). on a Year-to-Date basis, that value has grown by 13.61%. Since December 31, 2019 -- which closed the company's first full year of operation -- that market value has registered a growth of 273.26%.

A parallel way of adding value to the outstanding shares is being aggressively "constructed" via Unashig's venturing into health and other forms of insurance through its wholly-owned subsidiary -- Unasi Insurance Agency Ltd. The Agency currently generates more gross revenue, in the form of "commission," than Unashig receives as gross dividends.

We are exploring other business and investment opportunities as well, in addition to the agency business. In effect, then, the market value of Unashig's outstanding shares significantly understates what is soon likely to be self-evidently the sum of its true and growing value.

UNASHIG's Share Price and Market Capitalization of Holdings Quoted on the Nairobi Securities Exchange _ March 29th to April 2nd 2021

Share Price and Market Capitalization on Specified Days of the Week: March 29th to April 2nd, 2021:

Friday, April 2nd, 2021:

This being Good Friday, NSE did not open for trading. Consequently, Unashig's share price and market capitalization will remain the same as reported at the close of trading on Thursday, April 1st, until the release of new trading stats for next Tuesday -- some 60 to 90 minutes after the market closes at 3:00 PM.

Thursday, April 1st, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:

Unasig's share price reversed this week's downward trajectory -- which ran from Monday to Wednesday -- and closed at KES 2,201.89 (or US$ 20.21, at the exchange rate of US$1=KES108.95). Thursday's price translated into a 1.23% increase over Wednesday's closing price, which was in turn the lowest point of the week. Taking a longer view, we see that the share price has indeed risen by 7.81% on a YTD (Year-to-Date) basis -- that is, since December 31st, 2020.

UPDATE (April 4th, 2021): Cytonn's Markets Review of the First Quarter of 2021, ending on March 31st, which was released this Sunday, shows that the NSE equities market "recorded a mixed performance [YTD], with NASI and NSE 25 gaining by 4.3% and 3.4%, respectively, while NSE 20 declined by 1.2%..." With the selection of 24 securities in its own investment 'basket', Unashig clearly outperformed each of the 3 market indices during the first 3 months of 2021 -- rising by 7.81%, as already shown above. Stock picking and aggregation are clearly both a science and an art form.

Unashig did not buy any quoted shares today, since there were no additional funds to invest. The number of outstanding Unashig shares held stayed at 2,904.11.

Market capitalization grew by 15.00%, YTD, to KES 6,393,354.00 (or US$ 58,690.72). The growth in value, of 277.83%, recorded since December 31st, 2019 is noteworthy.

Since there will be no trading on the NSE during the long Easter weekend, KES 2,201.89 (plus the remittance charges and statutory deductions specified in Unashig's Share Pricing Formula) will remain the price at which a Unashig CA or CB may be privately bought. A new price will emerge when NSE trading closes at 3:00 PM next Tuesday, April 6th -- and, further, when NSE releases Tuesday's trading stats some 60 to 90 minutes thereafter. HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND!

Wednesday, March 31st, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:

Unashig's share price continued to lose ground on Wednesday, reflecting the broad trend on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. It closed the day at KES 2,175.21 (or US$ 19.89, at the exchange rate of US$1=KES 109.35).

On a YTD basis, however, today's closing price still represents a gain of 6.51% when compared to the KES 2,042.35 level recorded on December 31st, 2020. The opportunity to gain by buying "the dip" persists.

Market capitalization closed the day lower as well, at KES 6,317,041.50 (or US$ 57,769.01). This represents a dip of 0.32% from Tuesday's closing number of KES 6,337,149.00. However, a YTD calculation shows that the company's valuation has grown more noticeably -- by 13.61%. Going farther back to December 31st, 2019, which marked the end of its first 'full year' of operation, we see a much higher valuation growth  of 273.26% -- even if calculated from a low base of KES 1,692,388.00.

Tuesday, March 30th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:

Monday's dramatic drop in the value of a broad range of shares traded on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) continued at a lower pace (0.35%) on Tuesday.

Reflecting today's goings-on, the pegged-market price of a Unashig share (CA or CB) closed Tuesday at KES 2,182.13 (or US$ 19.93, at the exchange rate of US$1=KES 109.50). To many savvy investors, a dip in the share price of a trusted or valued or otherwise sound company represents a buying opportunity, not a time to fret. Hence the phrase "buy the dip." "Buying the dip" helps the investor to reduce the average cost of shares already held, and to increase the overall yield. Plainly, so does continual and well-considered buying.

Despite the decline in the market price of a number of blue chip stocks on Monday, Tuesday's closing price of a Unashig share still represents a 6.84% gain in value, on a YTD basis, when compared to the KES 2,042.35 value recorded on the last day of 2020.

At the end of today's trading, Unashig's market capitalization declined somewhat to KES 6,337,149.00, or US$57,873.51. But even this represents a 274.45% gain on the base figure of KES 1,692,388.00 recorded on December 31st, 2019.  On a YTD basis, however, market capitalization has so far grown at a much slower pace from the December 31st, 2020 valuation of KES 5,560,154.50 -- that is, by 13.61%.

Monday, March 29th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day

Reflecting a major downward turn at the NSE, the market-pegged price of a Unashig share closed 3.85% lower this Monday than we saw last Friday, settling at KES 2,189.71 -- or US$ 19.99 (at the exchange rate of US$1=KES 109.55). On a YTD basis, however, today's closing price of KES 2,189.71 is 7.23% higher than the December 31st, 2020 level of KES 2,042.35.

Unashig's market capitalization, the numerator for determining price per share, also dipped (by 3.85%) compared to last Friday's close, and closed today at KES 6,359,157.55 (or US$ 58,048.00). The total number of issued shares -- the denominator -- remained steady at 2,904.11.

Since December 31st, 2019, Unashig's market capitalization has grown by 275.75% -- from a base of KES 1,692,388.00 to today's mark of KES 6,359,157.55. On a YTD basis, however, it has grown by 13.61% from the closing valuation of KES 5,560,154.50 recorded on the last day of 2020.
