The market's recent decline across-the-board continued today. CBshare price dropped another 0.99% to close at KES2,131.03 (or US$18.39, at the forex rate of KES115.85 per US$). CBshare's ranking among the metrics that we track fell from first to fifth, as shown on the list below:
Wednesday, April 27th, 2022.
The stock market's recent decline continued. CBshare price closed another 0.49% down, at KES2,152.43.00 (or US$18.60, at the forex rate of KES115.75 per US$). It continued to maintain its first position, regardless, as the other metrics fell comparatively more steeply, as shown on the list below:

Today's trading at the bourse continued on a decidedly downward trend, as witnessed since last Friday. CBshare price closed 0.95% down, at KES2,163.00 (or US$18.67, at the forex rate of KES115.87 per US$). It retained its first position only because the other metrics fell relatively more sharply, as we see on the list below:
Monday, April 25th, 2022.
CBshare price closed 0.22% down, to KES2,183.84 (or US$18.88, at the forex rate of KES115.70 per US$). This performance nevertheless returned CBshare to the first position, on a day when all key metrics dipped, as we see on the list below:
Unashig's market capitalization also contracted 0.22%, to close at KES7,258.222.00 (or US$62,733.12).
ALL ARE ADVISED THAT: Share trading is not Unashig's core business, but an important aspect of enterprise. Unashig is a limited liability company registered under Kenya's Companies Act and entirely owned by its registered shareholders.
The average number of CBshares held per shareholder remains very low, however. This is not conducive to rapid capital/asset growth, or the generation of substantial and distributable dividend income from stock holdings. For over 12 months, the value of our CBshare has proven that Unashig's investment decisions continue to be competitive with, and quite frequently superior to, investment decisions pegged on the trajectory of any of the four leading NSE indices. Indeed, its aggregate annual yield is, in percentage terms, superior to that of bonds issued in Kenya and, from what we can see, bond yields reported by US and European securities exchanges.
