UNASHIG's Share Price and Market Capitalization of Holdings Quoted on the Nairobi Securities Exchange __ February 28th to March 4th 2022

Share Price and Market Capitalization at the Close of Specified Days of the Week:


Friday, March 4th, 2022.

CBshare gained another 0.46% to close at KES2,283.66 (or US19.95, at the forex rate of KES114.48 per US$). This level of performance tied it in the top position with NSE 20 Index, as we see in today's ranking:

1. NSE 25 Index: +0.46%
2. CBshare price (25 counters): +0.46%*
3. FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: +0.29%
4. NSE 20 Index: +0.19%
5. NASI (NSE All-Share Index): +0.17%.

Unashig's market capitalization also expanded 0.46% to close at KES7,553,460.00 (or US$65,980.61).

On a Week-on-Week (W-o-W) basis, on the other hand, the NSE 25 Index dropped to the third position, while CBshare dropped to third, as we see below:

1. NASI (NSE All-Share Index): +2.50%
2. FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: +2.28%
3. NSE 25 Index: +1.86%
4. CBshare price (25 counters): +1.78%*
5. NSE 20 Index: +0.77%.

YTD, CBshare rose 0.67%, while market capitalization gained 0.50%.

Since the baseline date of December 31st, 2020, CBshare has jumped 11.31%, while market capitalization has recorded a 35.85% expansion.

SUMMARY: CBshare is now priced at KES2,283.66 (US$19.95) -- plus (for trading purposes) statutory and brokerage charges ranging from 3.55% of the price of one share to 2.26% of the price of 10 shares bought at the same time. Today's price will remain steady until 5:00 PM (GMT+3) Monday, March 7th. A new price will be released Monday night.


Thursday, March 3rd, 2022.

CBshare rose another 0.71%, closing at KES2,273.19 (or US$19.96, at the forex rate of KES113.91 per US$). That notwithstanding, it was outperformed by four indices and fell to the fifth position, as we see in today's ranking:

1. NASI (NSE All-Share Index): +1.16%
1. NSE 25 Index: +1.16%
3. FTSE NSE Kenya Index: +1.13%
4. NSE 20 Index: +0.92%
5. CBshare Price (25 counters): 0.71%*. 

Market capitalization grew 0.71% as well, and closed at KES7,518,815 (US$66,006.63). 

YTD, CBshare dipped 1.12%, while market capitalization expanded, almost imperceptibly, by 0.04%.

Since December 31st, 2020 (our baseline date), the price of a CBshare has climbed 10.80%, while market capitalization has surged 35.23%.


Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022.

CBshare gained 0.72% to close at KES2,257.27 (or US$19.82, at the forex rate of KES 113.90 per US$). That was enough to keep it in the third position, as we see on the list below:

1. NASI (NSE All-Share Index): +1.21%
2. FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: +1.07%
3. CBshare Price (25 counters): +0.72%*
4. NSE 25 Index: +0.65%
5. NSE 20 Index: -0.28%. 

Unashig's market capitalization expanded another 0.72% as well, to close at KES7,466,176.00 (or US$65,550.27).

YTD, CBshare pared its loss to -1.82%. Market capitalization recovered somewhat as well but, at -0.66%, still closed in negative territory YTD.

Compared to our baseline stats of December 31st, 2020, the price of a CBshare has gained 10.02%, while market capitalization has surged 34.28%.             


Tuesday, March 1st, 2022.

CBshare shed 0.03% to close at KES2,241.23 per share (or US$19.69, at the forex rate of KES113.81 per US$). As a result, it fell from second to the third position, as the ranking below shows:

1. NASI (NSE All-Share Index): +0.17%
2. NSE 25 Index: -0.01%
3. CBshare price (25 counters): -0.03%* 
4. FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: -0.06%
5. NSE 20 Index: -0.23%.

Unashig's market capitalization contracted by 0.03% as well, to close at KES7,413,161 (US$65,136.29).

YTD, CBshare has lost 2.51% in value, while market capitalization has declined 1.36%.

With December 31st, 2020 as the baseline, the value of a CBshare has grown 9.24%, while market capitalization has seen a 33.33% expansion. 

 

Monday, February 28th, 2022.

CBshare price shed 0.08% to close at KES2,241.89 (or US$19.68, at the forex rate of KES113.90 per US$). As we see in today's ranking of 5 metrics, only NSE 20 Index gained, closing 0.18% up; while CBshare jumped from third to second position, despite the 0.08% drop:

1. NSE 20 Index: +0.18%
2. CBshare price: -0.08%*
3. FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index: -0.17%
4. NASI (NSE All-Share Index): -0.24%
5. NSE 25 Index: -0.40%.

Unashig's market capitalization dipped 0.08% as well to close at KES7,415,292.00 (US$65,103.53). 

YTD (that is, since December 31st, 2021), CBshare fell 2.48%, while market capitalization shed 1.34%.

Seen against the December 31st, 2020 baseline, however,  CBshare climbed 9.27%, while market capitalization shot up 33.36%.
