Friday, March 19th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:
The price per share of Unashig's outstanding (i.e. issued) shares rose 0.37% today, closing at KES 2,269.57 (or US$ 20.68 at the exchange rate of US$1=KES 109.73). On a Year-to-Date (YTD) basis, the closing price was 11.12% higher than the December 31st, 2020 level of KES 2,042.35.
Market capitalization was likewise higher today than we saw on Thursday, closing today at KES 6,473,071.50 (or US$ 58,990.90). It was higher as well on a YTD basis, rising 16.42% above the December 31st, 2020 level of KES 5,560,154.50.
Thursday, March 18th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:
Market price per share closed 0.21% higher, at KES 2,261.16 (or US$ 20.59 at the rate of US$1=KES 109.80). On a YTD basis, Thursday's closing price was 10.71% higher than the December 31st, 2020 price of KES 2,042.35.
Market capitalization was likewise higher today than we saw yesterday, closing at KES 6,449,077/- (or US$ 58,734.76). It was higher as well on a YTD basis, rising 15.99% above the December 31st, 2020 level of KES 5,560,154.50.
Unashig did not buy any stock at the NSE today, nor were any Unashig shares bought. The number of outstanding/issued CA and CB shares remained at 2,852.11.
Wednesday, March 17th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:
Market price per share closed 0.21% higher today, at KES 2,244.47 (or US$ 20.46, at the rate of US$1=KES 109.70). On a YTD basis as well, Wednesday's closing price was higher by 9.90% than the price of KES 2,042.35 recorded on December 31st, 2020.
Market capitalization was likewise higher today than we saw yesterday, closing at KES 6,401,481/- (or US$ 58,354.43). It was likewise higher on a YTD basis, rising 15.13% above the December 31st, 2020 level of KES 5,560,154.50.
On a related point, Unashig did not buy any stocks at the NSE today; nor were any Unashig shares bought. The number of outstanding/issued CA and CB shares remained at 2,852.11.
Tuesday, March 16th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:
Market price per share closed higher again today, at KES 2,239.67 (or US$ 20.42, at the rate of US$1=KES 109.70). That figure represented a gain of 1.18% over Monday's close. On a YTD basis as well, Tuesday's closing price was 9.7% higher than the amount of KES 2,042.35 recorded on December 31st, 2020.
Market capitalization was likewise higher today than on Monday, closing at KES 6,387,798/- (or US$ 58,229.70). It was likewise higher on a YTD basis, rising 14.89% above the December 31st, 2020 level of KES 5,560,154.50.
On a related note, Unashig bought some prized stocks at the NSE today. At the same time, additional CB shares were bought by a dedicated Unashig shareholder. The number of outstanding CA and CB shares rose to 2,852.11.
Monday, March 15th, 2021: Unashig's Share Price and Market Capitalization at Close of Day:
Market price per Unashig share (corrected) closed higher today, at KES 2,213.59 (or US$ 20.22, at the exchange rate of US1=KES 109.65). It had closed last Friday at KES 2,202.17, or US$ 20.08. That represented a gain of 0.52% over the three days.
On a YTD basis, more specifically, Monday's closing share price showed a gain of 8.38%, compared to the closing price of KES 2,042.35 on December 31st, 2020.
Monday's market capitalization was higher than Friday's as well, closing at KES 6,297,900/- (or US$ 57,436.39). On a YTD basis, also, it showed a gain of 13.27% over the lower capitalization level of KES 5,560,154.50 recorded at the end of year 2020.
Unashig did not buy any quoted shares, but five additional Unashig shares were bought by a shareholder earlier in the day, before market close, at Friday's price. This raised the total of outstanding CAs and CBs to 2,845.11.
