MUSIC: One Day by Nandy

Nandy's love song, One Day, belongs in the 'set-book' genre of torn love, as seen from the eye-view of a post-puberty babe on the 'edge'.

She's torn between a sense of love as a 'field of dreams' and a raging 'real-life' pressure to steadfastly commit, already, to the one. That is, between the bird in hand, warts and all, and that perfect 'object of desire' that lurks in the uncertain and treacherous bush of life.

The music fits the purpose. The song is a mix of Swahili and English, a growing trend in Tanzania. The theme is, as already indicated, universal.
